SWAT Training is a ton easier than SEAL training. You cant even compare the two.
On the scenario, if you have to be SWAT, you can set up an ambush when they come... easier way to dispose of them.

Ambush= Hiding
Trust me, if our SWAT guys hide, you will find them!
thats why im seals, i can hide btr and dont have some of the sstuff they have

the two are very different, in my mind, and not to be insulting, but swat is to seals as paintball is to airsoft, SEALS are so much better and highly trained, all SWAT do is rush into a house and usually only have to kill like 1-3 guys, and they have like 10, with SEALs, if theyr lucky then its the opposite way around, but its usually like 20-30 to 1 with SEALs, yet they still come out on top, go figure

Duh, SEALs are the best trained military soldiers in the world...
I am thinking about going into the SEALs, but it seems like a lot of work. Hell week sounds like the name of it, and you have to be an expert under the water, and Im not good under water. I can only hold my breath for 10 seconds.
You have to go through 2 years of training, under water training, Land training, and airborne training. Sounds like alot to me.
As with SWAT, you dont haver to do as much and is easier.

i would suggest a land based special operations unit if tahts waht your looking for, since SEALS are water-based, i would love to be a Navy SEAL, and iv read dozens of accounts of Hell week, it doesnt scare me that muchy, i just dont like the water part, i want to be either a Ranger or a Marine Force Recon guy, oh yeah, i was talking to an Army recruiter, he told me that all of America's Special Operations Units are pretty much the same as in the training and skill, its just their main focus that differs

Your right... I would want to be a SEAL, but too much training and water based action.
I would rather be SWAT or Marines because it is easier and has nothing to do with water.
Back on topic: Wouldnt it be cool if there were like 5 SWAT and 3 terrorists? It would be easier for SWAT and wouldnt be as easy for the terrorists.

Seals are not the best. Our "delta force" that "doesnt" exist is the best that we "dont" know of. The u.s. has forces that non of you even know about. They are the best... We just will never know who they are..
SWAT is not to be compared to SEALs.... in anyway... SEALS are Military, and SWAT is law enforcemnt. SWAT can be made by any ploice department... all they have to do is say "im SWAT" and then they are... SEALS have extensive training... And have to take many physical and mental tests. They get beatn to prove that they wont talk when captured. When a seal dies. No 1 knows about it.. It was a military accident.. and he will be just another marine...

i still think that SEALs are better because they have a wider range of training and skills than Delta, which is just a CT unit, which was made originally from Green Berets, and yes, there are more units that we dont know about, but i still think that SEALs are the best OVERALL special operations soldiers in the world, maybe tied with the SAS and Spetsnaz, and maybe the French Foreign Legion, but SEALs are way up there

Yep, thats what i said! No one on our team wants to be SWAT. Well First there a bunch of lazy @$$ who dont want to buy some nice quality camo!! How do you figure? Our team picked their sides, and half of them chose SWAT... So how do they not want to be SWAT?? And.... As for camo... I'm SWAT, and i spent double what you spent on your BDU's.... SO that doesnt make sense either.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seals have died in iraq as well, They aren't going to release their name as a seal... the latest allied fatality count since the invasion of Baghdad is 1,805 as of May 15, 2005. There have been over 25,000 civilians killed there. We are doing a great job, but out of over 1k troops, you want to tell met that no 1 seal has died? b.s.! Most SWAT members were at 1 time seals, so.... I know some swat teams, requre like 2 years of active duty, or 4 years of reserves... it's always different... SWAT is trained best in what they do, Seals are trained best in what they do.. that's all the matters. the 2 can't be compared in any way..

May 18th, thats a long time ago... and u use ur camp for paintball too, just saying. Look at some of our guys they got classic stuff (regualr camo pants/jaket) and mostly faded away. I was just saying And yes i do agree that most SWAT were Seals at one point.

Well, I used my camo one time for paintball... and.. i only got shot once in my camo, so it's all good. May 18th.. was only like 2 weeks ago, which... many soldiers dont die each weak.. 10 or so.. But im just stating, we have been at wer for ...4? 5? years already, and havent lost many more than 1k troops.. that's amazing. Our team camo... besides.... vlad, u and me do suck... Which reminds me.. pete.. needs camo.. But anyways, we all have matching vests, so we're fine.
