Back on topic.. I was at a pre-event getting to know the field and the guy was saying how he played in the desert and he said people were using the yellow plants and that they used them to hide themselves some how... but the dunes he said make the game impossible cause u see a guy then *poof* they are gona cuase they went on the side fo a dune or "in" the dune

Yeah, I live in the desert, so, well, I play in it. It's kinda' hard to find good cover, though. Me and my team plan to dig trenches and use sandbags, etc. though. ;D

Sandbags are good ideas! Plenty of sand to go around.
Sandbags would work well if they were painted tan - and frmo a long way away you wouldnt be able to tell if it was bags or sand. Snipers could use this strategy effectively.

i dont think that that will work at all, they would be able to see the outline, and that it wouldnt move, but maybe put desert camo netting over you or something like that

Just a suggestion... I think you would be able to tell anything from sand when your in the desert.
Desert camo Netting! Theres your answer!

i would say if you have only a couple of bunkers stay there and be patient and wait for him to come and get the fisrt good shot... i use this tactic when im playing in a neighborhood and there are not may places to hide...

U live in a desert?? That is a bad tatic. For one, if people did that, the game would go on forever! Cause there isnt bunkers in a desert and then evryone waits till someone "makes a mover". Personally, if u did have a bunker, i would pik it up and move it to where u are goin. ;D

May i ask why you would need to cover an AEG up from sand? Guns are sealed pretty tightliy, the only way in, is behind the trigger, in the magazine hole ( if no mag is in the gun ), and in the barrel... Shouldnt be a problem... As long as you dont use your gun as a crutch. People play in the dersert all the time... I would suggest actual sand type boots though, Walking in the sand with regular military boots would be hell. Walking on the dunes is a workout as it is, even barefoot, It burns your cafs. and you get tired in about 1/3 of the time. Getting sand in your boots would also suck, That's mainly why i said to get sand type boots... If it's like a dry, hard, no san type desert, then it doesnt matter... Bring a camelbak!!! As for tactics, Get yourself about 10 drum mags, a few batteries.... and KAMAKAZI AT THEM!.... or dig a hole and bury yourself 90% of the way... In all reality, I would say, keep moving, or hide behind small ridges... and move fast when you do... Wind will throw of your enemies shots... Assuming that there is wind.. in a desert, nothing to block it.

i have 4 hicaps, 2 glock mags, one 50 round mag... fully auto glock... plastic knives.... hell.. can you say spray and pray? then hope they surrender...... then shoot them from 5 feet away. if they don't surrender... say "oh nuts, I'm out" Or it's gunna hurt... lol. J/K.. that's what i do man, i dont like sniping, i dont like letting people snipe or camp... my mind keeps thinking, how can i rush/bunker them? My guts... that takes some convincing though.. sometimes... if it's ^ sniper ^, then i do it out of habit.. haha j/k

Ha, I love the picture with the guys with the two MP5Ks. In says he's using two Ks, but he's actually holding Mini UZIs with foregrips.
