I don't like it. It just looks WAY too simple.
But dang, 475 FPS with .2s? That's crazy.

With heavier bbs and correctly set hopup, you can get really good accuracy with a safe FPS with that gun.
edit: sry.. You can also get a silencer adapter for it, and it becomes significantly quieter when using a silencer with foam. Velocity can be easily ajusted by either putting spaces on the hammer spring, or putting in a weaker hammer spring. Note that putting a stronger hammer spring/spaces can cause more strain and damage to the valve button on the magazine.

I'm no n00b! jk, jk, lol Anyway, I am probably going to hold off on this for now, but I will eventually get it. Further comments would be nice, though. ;D

Paintball-x was having trouble suppltying them, they stopped making the carbine or something... Maybe something has changed, but amp is affiliated with them, and the owner, Derek, was not able to stock up.. so please make sure everyhting is instock and not "special order"
I dont know, i hate the guns look, 475 is pretty crazy, but as long as there arent any point blank shots, i dont se any problems.

Sorry to bring a dying topic back but today I had experience with this gun firsthand, so I thought you might be interested.
Well today I went to a skirmish and it turns out one of the guys I went with (my friend's cousin) had one of these. Overall I wasn't too impressed really. The thing is pretty light, and for some reason it was pretty hard to pull the trigger. The FPS was great though, but it did skip around a lot when he was chronographing it. Basically, the thing is just a long pistol with a stock. It really needs a scope to be effective, too. Overall, I think it's a decent weapon, but I wasn't too impressed with it.

Did the guy have a tightbore in it? how was it's accuracy?

No, the gun didn't have a tightbore in it, the guy had just bought it this month. Because he was using black BBs, when he let me shoot it I couldn't see where they were going so I wasn't sure about the accuracy of it. When I asked him how the accuracy was though, he said that anything behind 50 ft. he would just pull the trigger maniacally instead of trying to aim precisely because it's hard to hit people past that range. That's right, 50 ft. It might have been the gun, it might have been the skill of the user, but still, I'd definitely pass on buying this gun.
