Tokyo Marui Chrome Desert Eagle
[glow=red,2,300]Venom1000TT[/glow]
I got My Tokyo Marui Chrome Desert Eagle Yesterday. I am very happy
and satisfied with it. I ordered the gun off of PowerEdge USA, I am
very pleased in how fast they shipped it and the price wasnt very much
at all (Around 15 bucks from Hawaii to Pennsylvania).
The Box has some good detail to it and is probally the coolest box
i've seen so far.
First Impression
When i first opened the package i was greeted by The instruction
manual (All in Japanese) , targets, part list, Tokyo Marui catalog,
and The PowerEdgeUSA Terms & Service sheet.
Under all of that was the massive beast itself...
I pulled back the slide and heard a very mean sounding "ca-chink".
That sound was the special plate thats under the slide that shoots
back into it once it is cocked about halfway through. It acts as a
dirt and dust protector and keeps most of the gas from escaping
rapidly.
So i quickly grapped the gun, new clip and loaded up the clip. The
only thing thats bad is bb loading rods wont work and you have to do
it by hand. It would be possible to use a TM Speedloader but all the
bb's would mess up and get into bunches.
Shooting
I loaded it with some propane
Although propane isnt recommended for plastic slides...i expect it to
last around a year before i have to buy a metal one that is offered by
Zeke.
I bought the Adapter off of Airsoft Atlanta for $30 dollars. Its the
cheapest way to go.
The gun has some nice kick to it and is fairly powerful. It pierced a
sheet of thick cardboard with plastic covering it.
I would compare the recoil to a .22 pistol. Maybe even a .25 pistol.
The BB will go about 50 feet once you mess with the hop-up a little. I
tested it from around 6-7 feet with 10 bb's and got 6 in the bulls-eye
and 4 in the closest two rings.
Specifications
Weight: 3lbs
Magazine Capacity: 28 + 1
FPS: 330
Joules: 0.9
The Gun has some metal parts including: breach lock, mag catch,
hammer, magazine, takedown button, takedown lever and trigger.
The rest of the parts like the slide and frame are ABS plastic but you
can buy metal upgrade kits from Zeke.
Pros: Heavy, Powerful, Well-Constructed (Sturdy), Chrome Finish is
well done, and Accuracy is very good.
Cons: Hard to find holsters that fit, Sights arent too good,
Dissasembly is difficult.
In The End i personnaly give this gun a 8.5/10
Powerful, Mean Looking, and Accurate Gun.
I would recommend this gun to Intermediate to advanced airsoft players
becasue disasembly and assembly can get tricky if you dont have any
knowledge of the gun.
