Classic Army MP5 A4 w/Tac Light
by [glow=red,2,300]SWATA4[/glow]
cont'd from Classic Army MP5 A4 w/Tac Light Part 1....
Satisfied with my inspection of the gun, I plugged the battery into the charger. fortunately, the MP5 A4 takes a FULL sized battery. Stock, the gun is designed to take center]8.4v or 9.6 NiCad or NiMH batteries. It will last you the day, easily 4k rounds. I have two 8.4 V, and I have yet to run them dead. I never allow my batteries a full time to charge, so one of them may die half way through the day. The battery fits into the gun very nicely, but as said earlier,
As you can see above, there is a small lid on the back of the magazine. You flip it open, and load your bb’s by simply pooring them in, No annoying loading tube and rod. Just poor them in and shoot!!!
Now, with both magazines loaded up I went out to my back yard and unloaded on my fence. The ROF (rate of fire) surprised me. I’m used to my ICS, so when I heard the sound of this gun firing, I was impressed. This machine puts off around 1000 RPM (rounds per minute), translating to approximately 16 rounds per second.
Impressed with the ROF, I now decided to test power. The FPS (feet per second) is 330, After using a 360 FPS ICS AE MP5 A4, It seemed to shoot just as good at a lower FPS. The barrel is upgraded and the gun just runs smoother.
The range of this gun is quite good. The Hop-Up system is adjustable, allowing the operator to perfect the accuracy and range of the weapon. For those who don’t know what Hop-Up is, it is a system that applies backspin to a BB when it leaves the barrel. This backspin causes the BB’s flight to be more stable, and drastically increases range. By having an adjustable Hop-Up, the MP5A4 allows you to increase or decrease the amount of backspin applied to the BB. By removing the tac grip, you will see the hop up lever. Which is quite nice that you have to remove the grip to change it, because the ICS version had it hanging out of the grip, and I used to spend 15 minutes adjusting it, just to bump it with my thumb and throw it off.
When you pull the knob back ( or by looking at the picture, to the right ) the bb’s go higher, and by pushing it forward ( or by looking at the picture, to the left ) the bb’s go lower.
It comes with a pre upgraded 6.07mm barrel. The FPS plays a huge role in the accuracy of this gun, and with it being 330 FPS, it says enough. The barrel is a an important aspect of this gun, for being so short, Aproximately 12 inches, It is completely astounding! When I'm on the field, I sometimes forget that im not a sniper.
Altogether, the performance is quite good. The ROF and manueverability makes this gun ideal for quickly dispatching opponents, and the gun is surprising accurate, especially considering the barrel length isn't incredibly long. The power is impressive as well. On fully auto, you can easily see about 15 bb's in a line before they hit the ground. Quite an amazing feeling, I don't suggest using fully auto on your opponents at close range, because all the bb's that fire out of this gun on fully auto, have multiple firends, one after another.
The gun comes 330 FPS, and therefore there is no need for a higher % spring. 330 is a perfect amount of FPS for thsi gun, Some people like their AEG's 400 FPS, but that puts alot of wear on the gun, Internally, it is all pre upgraded, and there is no need for any internal upgrading. But if you want an mp5 to stand out from any other gun, well, that's quite a hard task. The very first big thing is the tac light on the front of the gun, which Classic Army so kindly through in with it. It's a 90$ mag light, for free. Scopes on an MP5 is a very sensitive topic, And I for one choose to have a 4x zoom on mine. I have my scope set so perfectly, that the bb stays in the exact center of the crosshair. I don't get a chance to see the bb's fly out of the gun all the time, but i know that i have a good shot if my crosshair is in that area.
After you get the hopup and your sights just right, you will be astonished by this weapons performance. Take it out of the box, take a few shots, playu with everything for a while, but i suggest that you take at least 30 minuites to get everyhting set up perfectly. Adjust your sights, adjust your hopup, then fire the gun again, and then you just get that feeling, " Wow this gun is much better than I expected"

This is the ultimate airsoft weapon, for just about any situation, and for that matter for just about any player. It is compact, but yet still comfortable. It has a small barrel, but still has great accuracy. It is stock, but still achieves 1000 rpm at 330 FPS. It can house a 9.6v in the stock, Very easy battery change. Adjustable hopup, Very easy, no tools needed. Comes with hi-cap mags, 200 rounds on hand is a great thing. Its weight is aprozximately 6 pounds, and in my opinion, that is a perfect weight for just about any player. It's great for rushing, camping, and for use as a support weapon. Sniper... Well.. not exactly, You may want to look into another gun. The CA33E is almost this exact gun, But it has a much longer barrel on it, and can be more of a sniper. MP5's are not known for being support weapons, but this thing packs in alot of firepower, and though, I do not expect the geabox to hold fully auto fire for a long period of time, I do know that it can handle it for quite some time. Dumped 200 rounds on a cover fire, and .. let's just say thank god for dual mags. It took about 5 seconds for the mag to be empty, I just fired away and wound it a few spins while doing so. Adjust the hopup just right, and this gun is amazing. Words can't explain this product. I don't even like calling it a product, becuase it means so much more to me than that. I fell in love with this gun, and you will too! It's by far the best way to kill 300$ in airsoft. It will provide you with so many hours of fun each day. Whether it's shooting your oponents, or showing your friends and family, this gun will get their attention. This is one gun that you can be proud to show off to your firends. Usually a gun does not make the player, but this one sure does help.
