Let's see....I got into airsoft....Well, it all started about 6 years ago. I bought a Beretta Something or other froma friend and shot all the ammo. The gun sat in my room for years. Then i got into paintball (which i am still active in) and loved it. Eventually though, the thought of filling one more friggin CO2 tank drove me insane (not to mention the cost of Pballs). So i met a friend who had a hardballer II (haha, now i own the exact gun that i bought from him) and a tanfoglio witness. This led to My other friend and i ordering BB's and a couple pistols from SpeedyToys. Now, i have a VSR, the hardballer kid has a TM Mp5 (everyone has spring guns), the speedytoys kid has an XM177 TM, and maybe 6 other kids have a couple TM guns.

I got into airsoft when Airshark bought an mini Uzi. So i bought this thing off of ebay, a sig springer, or in other words crap, so i played with him. But then it broke, so i couldn't play, and stopped playing for about 5 months, so did my friend, but then we had an idea to start up a team, sooo, we are now Red Phoenix Operations, and he has a TM G36C and I have a AE Mp5a4 so, I guess you can say airsoft grew on us...

I got into Airsoft a couple years ago. It all started when my dad told me I could get a BB gun for my Birthday. Excited, I searched and searched the Internet, looking for an affordable gun that I'd want. While searching, I came across strange, realistic looking guns called "Airsoft" guns. I remembered I had heard a few classmates at school talking about them. I eventually bought a BB gun, but the Airsoft guns stuck in my mind.
Flash forward a few months. I had saved up some money, and, when looking for something to buy, stumbled across these Airsoft guns again. I figured, "What the heck?" and purchased my first Airsoft gun, a UHC Mini Uzi. This opened up my eyes to the Airsoft world, and I went on to buy better and better guns.
And the rest is history...

When the hard drive for my PS2 came, there was a magazine in the box. It had paintball guns, and airsoft guns. Paintball guns cost $100+, but these airsoft guns were around $20. I went online and googled airsoft, that's when I came across ASR. I read posts for a few months, and educated myself. Then I came across shortyusa, and bought a Neonfire (WELL) M4. I loved it, and a couple of my other friends bought guns. We played every day on weekends. I just got into it really fast in a really big way. About 5 months from when I bought my WELL M4, I purchased my TM FA-MAS for $150. Not to mention about 9 guns in between. Then I met treefrog361 in the player's section, and he lives just up the street. We started a team, and now hang out every weekend.

Well, lets see, this was about 7 yeard ago, and (even though I'm only 15) my memory is pretty bad, I remember looking around for BB guns on the internet, and I came upon IceFire Airsoft, and I had $100.00, so I bought this piece of crap: www.icefire-enterprises.com/G3a3spring.html(At the time I bought it, it was $50.00.) And three extra mags. Total cost: Around $100.00 I soooooooo regret buying that. Now, I own a TM M4A1 (Selling), KWA M11A1 (Selling), and I will be owning a TM M4-S soon.

Im trying to get my friends into it, and it is working a little bit. With my AEG, they will want to get one, and before you know it, all my friends will be shooting plastic BBs at each other!

Yes, I hate to call it a mistake, I would like to call it a process, But i think I have to... The biggest "mistake" all airsofters make is buying all cheap guns that add up to the price of an AEG in the long run anyways. I've done it myself. But, It's a "process." Everyone, Except rich, and really smart people do it. You dont go spending 300$ on a gun and not know what airsoft is, and springers serve a good purpose.. or.. did... but, it is just a beginning stage.
<- ANYWAYS, Back to topic ->
